Nov. 2013 Update: Sadly, La Señorita does not seem to be serving dinner anymore.

La Senorita Bodega y Cuchifritos

115 Eldridge St., NYC

Had clocked this crepes spot across from Vanessa’s Dumplings on Eldridge just South of Broome, but now it’s open for Dinner and Late Nite Snacks as La Senorita, so we had to stop in.

The food by Chef King Solomon (Marc Solomon formerly of Red Strype in Soho) was delicious and totally hit the spot (see photos).

Shije’s Bikini Season Tip:

When preppin’ for bikini season, get two orders of to-die-for escargot – and crepes to mop up the butter sauce… current fave escargot in NYC. Build it like Brazil, baby.

Claudia, the proprietor was very friendly telling us the history and the transformation to the new incarnation of this hidden hotspot. This resto is laid back and we’ll def. be back to leisure (yes, I used it as a verb, because that what we don’t do enough in NYC.)

Thurs – Sat. the turntables come out and it’s back to Old School NYC. Are you down?
